Sculptures & Commissions

Here are a few of my sculptural designs. Most were commissioned pieces for private collections, though recent work has seen a more public showing. Please contact me for information on custom pieces.

Die Reisenden

A commission and donation to the Carolina Friends School from the Klopfer family. This piece incorporates the donor's family legacy of artistic style, as well as their life's passion for travel. The title means "The Travelers" in German. (Sandstone, steel, brass, & Persimmon. 2024)

Blue Heron (departure)

This commission celebrated the lives of members of a school community no longer with us. The steel sculpture rises from the heart of a granitic quartzite torso embedded in the earth, (Steel, granite, enamel. 2022)

A steel sculpture made from brake pads, steel wire cable, bolts and screws.
