Bradley Denis McDevitt
Theatrical Artist / Teacher / Entertainment Technician
Over the last thirty years, Bradley has traveled the globe, performing, teaching, and studying from a wide variety of vanguards of the theatrical world. As an Artist In Residence from Sibiu, Romania to Sheboygan, Wisconsin, he teaches K-12, collegiate classes, and professional workshops.
His teaching style is direct, confident and clear, demanding, personable, and thoroughly enjoyable. As an artist, his bold and challenging vision is rooted in the European school of Jacques Lecoq, where physical theater, dreamy beauty, and haunting visual acumen combine with relevant social and cultural content and are performed with presence, grace, and strength.
A member of IASTE and an ETCP certified Arena Rigger, Bradley began his technical experience from an early age, monkeying in middle school, adjusting lights for dances and performances. As a professional, he has served as Production Manager and Rigging Supervisor for UMO Ensemble, as Stage Manager for Donald Byrd, as Assistant Production Manager for the lauded INTIMAN Theater, as well as scenic carpenter, electrician, and rigger for countless productions around the world.
In Production, Performance, or Instruction, Bradley McDevitt has not only the skills and experience but also the passion, precision, and drive to make any event sparkle.
